Kraftsamling elförsörjning - Scenario analysis 290 TWh

This updated scenario analysis includes several developments in the analysis, including the modeling of Norway's hydropower, electricity trading with other countries, and the necessary adaptations to the power grid.

The starting point of the analysis has been fossil-free energy, cost optimization, and user focus. The target year has been moved to 2050, assuming a usage of 290 TWh of electricity in Sweden.

The analysis provides an indication of how a cost-effective and fossil-free Swedish electricity system could look like and how different choices will affect the system. The report contains several recommendations to policymakers regarding decisions that should be made promptly to enable the Swedish electricity system to meet the needs arising from climate change.
